Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Knoxville, TN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will stay current with rapidly changing automotive tech through paid training and mentoring, with ASE certifications targeted within two years. The role offers competitive flat-rate pay and opportunities for growth within Bridgestone Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• 5 years of automotive repair experience or completion of Vocational-Technical School Program.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical people.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment (fees paid by company).
