Universal Technical Institute is seeking an Auto Instructor to guide and inspire students in hands-on automotive learning. You will lead practical demonstrations in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing small engines, while collaborating with the education team to improve courses and create new ones.

The role emphasizes safety, mentorship, and clear communication with students and staff. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–5 years of automotive experience and ASE certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of hands-on automotive experience.
• ASE A1, A6, G1 certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and empathetic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate: Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Hands-on training: Lead by example with practical demonstrations in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing small engines.
• Curriculum development: Work with the education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones.
• Mentorship and safety: Guide students on projects and reinforce safety best practices.
