Job summary

Sikich LLP is seeking a driven Accounting/Auditing internship in a hybrid role based in Springfield, IL and Alexandria, VA. You will learn the audit process, analyze state agency financial statements, and build client relationships while supporting the project team.

The internship requires students in accounting-related programs and CPA aspirations, with strong communication and teamwork skills. The role is eligible for US work authorization without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status at time of internship.
• Enrolled in an accounting, cost accounting, or auditing program at a college or university
• Interested in pursuing CPA credentials
• Ability to work collaboratively with a varied team
• Experienced in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
