Qualifications

• Junior or Senior status at time of internship.
• Enrolled in accounting, cost accounting, or auditing program at a college or university.
• Interested in pursuing CPA credentials.
• Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Interest in federal auditing and/or federal consulting.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to the accounting or audit project team under supervision.
• Work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with supervisory personnel.
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate data from the client to perform tests.
• Review documents, transactions, records, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Prepare documentation to support work performed, including workpapers and data reports.
• Report progress to senior, manager, or principal.
• Meet attendance and deadline expectations and abide by company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
