Job summary

WestPac in Littleton, CO is seeking an Associate Underwriter with Personal Lines experience to provide underwriting support and account service in a high-volume environment. You will review applications, assess risk, determine coverage and pricing, and build strong relationships with carriers and agents while supporting the service team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Personal Lines experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active Property and Casualty Producer License.
• Strong communication, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Flexible to changes in processes and procedures.
• Team player with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting support: assist brokers and underwriters with new business and renewals.
• Risk assessment and policy evaluation: review applications for completeness and risk factors.
• Pricing and coverage decisions: recommend coverage levels and premiums using rating systems.
• Relationship building: develop strong relations with carriers and agents.
• Account service: handle inquiries, endorsements, and issue resolution.
• Team support: assist service team with quotes, bindings, inspections, and policy issuance.
• System proficiency: accurately use agency management systems and uphold service standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
