Job summary

Savills North America in New York City seeks an Associate Project Manager to support all design and construction phases and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors. You will help develop, track, and update schedules, budgets, and documentation, with travel for site visits and meetings as needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and eager to grow technical and PM skills within a collaborative, client-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting design and construction projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of design and construction within active project environments.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors involved in project execution.
• Assist in developing, tracking, and updating the project schedule, budget, and cost documentation.
• Monitor progress and coordinate construction schedules with internal and external teams.
• Anticipate potential project challenges and assist in developing practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized project files, logs, and approval documentation.
• Prepare status updates, reports, and ad hoc analyses as requested by project leadership or clients.
• Support procurement activities, including reviewing bids and assisting with vendor coordination.
• Communicate regularly with team members, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment of project goals and next steps.
• Participate in site visits, taking notes, photos, and ensuring documentation is complete and distributed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by following team standards and best practices.
