Interface Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Associate Principal/Senior Plumbing Engineer (MEP) for Chicago, IL in a hybrid role. You’ll lead as a discipline head on multiple projects, overseeing plumbing design, drawings, calculations, and coordination with the broader MEP team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Team leadership/management experience.
• Project management experience in the MEP space.
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.
• Complete understanding of building codes.
• Thorough design system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own as a discipline leader on multiple projects.
• Design, drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, calculations.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication.
• Provide management and oversight of plumbing design staff.
• Provide construction administration and site observations.
• Deliver exemplary service to team members and clients.
• Support overall project management for the MEP team.
