Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is representing a premier New York law firm seeking an Associate in its Litigation group, focusing on Class Actions in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in class action defense and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.

Candidates should have at least four years of litigation experience, be admitted to the New York bar, and possess outstanding writing and analytical skills. A federal clerkship is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar.
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in class action defense and managing multi-matter dockets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft briefs and motions with strong persuasive writing.
• Manage multi-matter dockets from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies.
• Assist in trials and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
