Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate for its Litigation group in Reston, VA, with a focus on class actions and related defense work. This role welcomes candidates from across the United States, with a preference for those based in the New York metropolitan area.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting briefs and motions, managing multi-matter dockets, and developing case strategies in collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at a top-tier AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with class action defense, including securities, data, and privacy litigation.
• Experience managing multi-matter dockets.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong persuasive legal writing skills.
• Experience in large-scale discovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and motions.
• Manage complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies.
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
