Select Medical in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an Assistant Recruiter on a 6-month contract with a hybrid schedule. Starting salary is $18.00 per hour.

You will support hospital recruitment teams by handling administrative tasks, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates. This role includes posting ads, reviewing resumes, maintaining the ATS, conducting initial phone screens, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with candidates and stakeholders.
• Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks and schedules.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and ATS software.
• Experience in HR, administrative support, or recruiting is often preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive and personal candidate information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the recruiting team to assist with sourcing, candidate follow-up, recruitment marketing, and ATS (iCIMS) maintenance.
• Assist recruiters in scheduling interviews, coordinating interview days, and communicating with candidates.
• Identify and source qualified candidates for assigned openings.
• Utilize job boards, social media networks, and other digital tools to attract talent.
• Create and update recruitment resources, directories, and checklists quarterly.
