Job summary

Qualifications

• Working towards, or has achieved, a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline.
• Has experience within the construction, civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure sector and is keen to develop their commercial career.
• Demonstrates strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Is highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Holds a full driving licence and is comfortable travelling to site when required.

Responsibilities

• Completing accurate take-offs and producing task price lists for task orders
• Supporting the commercial management of a portfolio of projects and maintaining scheme cost monitors
• Managing subcontractors, including issuing task orders and valuing monthly applications
• Presenting projected scheme performance at gateway meetings and producing month-end reports
• Working collaboratively with operational colleagues and clients to provide commercial advice for safe and efficient delivery
