Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams, and support a smooth handover from commissioning to project closeout.

The role requires on-site presence at job sites with some remote work; travel is expected. Minimum 3 years in utility-scale testing and strong knowledge of power systems and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive problem solving and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team with guidance and training.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone deliverables.
• Coordinate with OEMs on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain weekly updated integrated testing and commissioning schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, NFPA/NEC, and environmental standards.
