Job summary

Leidos in the Washington DC/Alexandria area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help lead multiple technical projects and program operations. You will map workflows, track progress, and coordinate across software testing, training, customer support, and systems engineering.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with up to two years of experience, strong organization, proficiency with M365, advanced Excel, and experience with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with two years or less business experience.
• Proven leadership skills in project management across teams.
• Strong organizational skills to evaluate and improve workflows.
• Proficient with M365 Office apps and quick to learn new tools.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, charts) for trends.
• Experience overseeing data in IQ CRM and evaluating change requests.
• Analytical mindset to solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of basic data security concepts and remediation tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Independent work and ability to meet deadlines.
• Prioritize work based on urgency, impact, contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Capture project requirements, track status, and report progress.
• Manage change requests, configuration, and master data in CRM.
• Prepare documentation on processes, SOPs, and training materials.
• Manage creation and delivery of technical documentation and deliverable reports.
• Assist in onboarding, clearances, compliance and training tasks.
• Identify and manage process-improvement projects across the program.
