Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer for a 12-month engagement in White Plains, NY. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite, with a 7.5-hour workday and a half-hour unpaid lunch, paid for time worked.

Responsibilities include supporting project plans, documentation, budget tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders using Procore and other PM tools. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with EIT or PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical) or related field required.
• One year of experience in engineering, construction management, or project administration/management preferred.
• EIT and/or PMP certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans, risk registers, award memos, purchase requisitions, scopes of work and other governance documents as directed.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, contract docs, and collect accounting info for contracts and change orders.
• Attend project health status meetings to update schedule, cost, and status.
• Ensure schedule, cost, and project information is up to date and accurate.
• Forecast and verify project budgets and stakeholder resources.
• Coordinate with the Project Controls team and update regularly.
• Prepare award memos for new contracts and change orders to authorize funding and dates.
• Track monthly invoices and prepare accruals for project financials.
• Coordinate submittals and RFIs through Procore with stakeholders.
• Maintain comment logs and ensure follow-up items are closed.
