Job summary

The Assistant Data Scientist at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute supports data-driven decision-making by developing analytics solutions, dashboards, automated reporting pipelines, workflow automations, and AI-enabled tools for the department.

It collaborates with TTI HR and other operations units to analyze complex datasets, improve business processes, administer Laserfiche, and support applied AI initiatives and workforce analytics.

Responsibilities

• Process automation and Laserfiche administration (40%).
• Develop automated scripts, workflows and reporting pipelines via Power Automate.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data feeds, integrations and automations.
• Develop and maintain dynamic reporting tools, spreadsheets and data solutions for HR operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and workflow improvements.
• Serve as Laserfiche Administrator and liaison between HR and the Texas A&M University System.
