Job summary

LHH is seeking an Assistant Controller for the Portland, OR area in a direct hire role. Hybrid schedule provided, with responsibilities spanning monthly close, financial reporting, and partnership with operations to support project performance.

You will oversee selected accounting functions, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to process improvements while guiding accounting staff. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and GAAP experience are required; salary range $110,000 to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with financial reporting, close processes, and GAAP.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support monthly and year-end close processes.
Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Partner with operational teams to support project and business performance.
Oversee selected accounting functions and internal controls.
Contribute to process improvements and systems-related initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to accounting staff.
