Job summary

Ancon is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role owns the day-to-day AR cycle—including collections, cash application, aging, and reconciliation—with some AP support and liaison duties between Corporate and Office Admins.

A mix of in-office and at-home work is possible. You will handle customer and vendor communications by phone, generate AR/AP reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with audits and special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior AR experience required and/or AP preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent client service mindset and communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel skills; ERP familiarity
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• AR cycle ownership: collections, cash application, aging, reconciliation.
• AP support: invoice routing, vendor statements, and related tasks.
• Generate AR/AP reports and maintain audit-ready records.
• Liaise between Corporate and Office Admins on AR/AP matters.
• Assist with audits and special projects as needed.
