Job summary

Uniek Inc. is seeking an organized Accounting Assistant – AR/AP to join our accounting team in Wisconsin. The role supports Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting tasks, requiring attention to detail and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will manage customer payments, vendor invoices, and monthly reconciliations, while communicating effectively with internal departments and customers. This is a hybrid position with a competitive benefits package and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in business administration or accounting.
• 2-5 years of AR/AP/GL experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365 and Internet.
• Experience with Infor CSI and QuickBooks preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and apply to appropriate GL accounts in CSI for AR.
• Post invoices and match against POs; enter data in ERP system for AP.
• Review AR aging, send statements, and handle credits or deductions.
• Prepare and review monthly accounts receivable reports and aging.
• Process wire, ACH, and check payments and vendor payments.
• Assist with month-end close and assist with audits as needed.
