Confidential Client in Farmington Hills, Michigan seeks a Technical Service Engineer (Application Engineering) to provide customer-facing technical support and develop application solutions across polymers and processing. You will collaborate with sales, R&D and product teams, support new material introductions and guide customers through the development lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in application engineering/technical service/polymer engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering thermoplastics and injection molding fundamentals.
- Ability to translate customer challenges into practical material, processing and application solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers throughout the product development lifecycle from requirements to launch.
- Develop technical solutions covering engineering thermoplastics, material selection, injection molding and processing.
- Support molding trials, product evaluations and qualification activities with technical recommendations.
- Troubleshoot material, molding and application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Evaluate relationships between material properties, processing, dimensional stability and performance.
- Prepare technical reports, processing recommendations and customer presentations.
