Michigan Medicine, a leading academic health system, seeks Advanced Practice Professionals (NP or PA) for 0.6 FTE roles rotating between Adult Inpatient Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation and the Outpatient Migration Program. The positions require credentialing, strong critical care skills, and collaboration with the transplant team.

Qualifications

• Current specialty certification to practice as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP.
• Current specialty certification to practice as FNP/AGPCNP/ANP with 4 years inpatient BMT APP experience.
• Current RN license in Michigan.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• NCSBN-recognized NP certification.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS and ACLS
• 1–2 years of acutely ill patient management at APP level.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between BMT/CT inpatient and Outpatient Migration Program.
• Provide care and direct management of adults with malignant hematologic disorders.
• Perform history and exam, manage orders per CPG, admissions and discharges.
• Identify and treat sepsis, GVHD, CRS, IEC-EC, ICANS, and cardiac issues.
• Perform procedures: bone marrow biopsy/aspiration, lumbar puncture, skin biopsies.
• Review labs/imaging and discuss plan with team.
• Participate in clinical trials and patient education.
• Support transition of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Attend Michigan Medicine meetings and CME activities.
