Job summary
Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to rotate between Adult Inpatient Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation and the Outpatient Migration Program. You will manage adults with malignant hematologic disorders, under collaboration with BMT physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include daily rounds, orders per guidelines, admissions/discharges, and patient education.
Qualifications
- Current specialty certification to practice as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Inpatient BMT/CT experience with similar acuity within past 6 years.
- RN license in Michigan and NP program graduation.
- DEA registration and BLS/ACLS credentials required.
Responsibilities
- Rotate between Adult Inpatient BMT/Stem Cell Transplantation and Outpatient Migration Program.
- Direct management of adult hematologic malignancies with BMT/CT focus.
- Perform exams, orders, admissions, discharges, and educate staff and families.
- Manage complex cases including sepsis, GVHD, CRS and ICU-level issues.
- Perform bone marrow procedures and review labs/imaging with team.
