Job summary

Ruan is seeking an Application Development Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time position with a mix of on-site at our downtown Des Moines campus and remote work.

You will partner with a Senior developer to learn and assist with enhancements, troubleshooting, bug fixes, upgrades, and new development in a predominantly C# .NET environment. The internship targets students pursuing IT or related fields and offers exposure to microservice architecture in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• Education: Some College Courses Preferred; IT-related degree recommended.
• Experience: none

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing reports and presentation materials (25%).
• Support day-to-day business activities focused on meeting internal and external customer needs (25%).
• Fully support financial business case analysis (25%).
• Participate in major cost and process improvement initiatives with technical support (20%).
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required (5%).
