You will onboard vendors, manage the vendor master file, respond to inquiries, and support audit and compliance needs while protecting confidential information. This full-time role features a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with multi-entity organizations
• Exposure to vendor onboarding and management
• Experience in accounting system conversions during mergers/acquisitions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Process and manage timely payments for utility accounts across all company locations, ensuring accuracy and avoiding late fees
• Maintain a utility tracker for account updates to stakeholders
• Set up new vendors in AP system, review W-9s, banking information, and compliance docs
• Maintain and update the vendor master file, eliminating duplicates or outdated records
• Answer vendor and utility provider inquiries, resolving billing issues and maintaining relationships
• Review and approve invoices with correct GL coding and proper documentation
• Complete administrative tasks to organize payable files for audits and compliance
• Protect vendor and payment information confidentiality
