Job summary

Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) to join the SCAN team in a 0.6 FTE role. You will perform trauma‑informed evaluations, collaborate with pediatricians, social workers, CPS, and law enforcement to assess and manage referenced maltreatment cases.

This role requires WA licensure as ARNP or PA‑C, DEA registration, and BLS/PALS. A strong background in child abuse evaluations and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Active WA ARNP or PA-C license (or eligible).
• Current DEA registration and BLS certification.
• Experience in Child Abuse Pediatrics, SCAN, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform trauma-informed evaluations and independent assessments for referred children.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, CPS, and law enforcement.
• Prepare medical reports, safety evaluations, and care recommendations.
• Provide medicolegal testimony and depositions as required.
• Engage patients and families with compassionate communication during high-stress encounters.
