Job summary

Seattle Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) to join our Urgent Care team. You will care for pediatric patients up to age 21 at Seattle Main Campus and Everett North Campus with flexible 0.6–0.9 FTE options.

Responsibilities include independent clinical evaluation, minor procedures, telemedicine, patient education, and care coordination with primary care within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with a Pediatric/Family NP concentration or PA program graduate.
• Active WA license for NP or PA with national certification as applicable.
• Experience in pediatric or family-focused clinical care (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric urgent care evaluations and treatment for patients up to age 21.
• Work independently and as part of an interprofessional Urgent Care team.
• Perform minor procedures and order/interpret point-of-care tests and imaging.
• Participate in telemedicine visits to expand access across Washington state.
• Educate patients and families on medications, device use, and red flags.
• Document encounters in the EHR and coordinate with primary care within 24 hours.
