Job summary

Continental General is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable/Expense Analyst for a hybrid role with three days in-office in the Austin, TX area. You will process vendor invoices, assist with budgeting analyses, and provide solid customer service while adhering to policies and deadlines.

The role requires an associate degree or higher in business or accounting, 0-3 years of related experience, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and general ledger systems.

Qualifications

• Must have analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
• Process accounts payable and handle check voids and stop payments.
• Review invoices for documentation and approve prior to payment; prioritize by terms.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts; generate financial reports as needed.
• Assist with enterprise budgeting and financial analyses, including accruals and depreciation.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and communicate with stakeholders.
