Job summary

Homes.com is seeking an Analytics Data Engineer II to design and scale end-to-end data infrastructure, transforming raw data into high-quality datasets that power internal analytics and customer-facing product experiences.

This role collaborates with product and engineering to define data strategy, build reliable pipelines, and deliver scalable BI solutions. It supports AI initiatives and data-driven decisions, located in Arlington, VA with in-office Mon-Thu and remote on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 3+ years in SQL, Python, PySpark, data warehousing, and BI tools.
• 2+ years building data pipelines and data engineering.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS/Azure, Snowflake).
• Experience with data viz tools (PowerBI, Tableau/Looker).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of AI technologies in development (LLMs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data infrastructure design and deployment.
• Define tracking strategy and data requirements with product/engineering teams.
• Develop data quality checks, validation rules, and data audits.
• Design data warehouse tables, schemas, and processes for analytics and front-end use.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales on data initiatives.
• Lead business analysis to help stakeholders access and interpret data.
• Build scalable BI solutions in Power BI on curated datasets.
• Partner with Data Science to productionize models and leverage AI tools.
