Job summary

ABA Works is seeking a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who enjoys working with children and families and is interested in developing behavioral and mental-health clinical skills. This hybrid AMFT / Behavior Technician role includes a minimum of 15 hours per week of direct ABA therapy and supervision by a California LMFT for licensure purposes.

LMFT supervision is provided for qualifying MFT experience, with extensive hands-on ABA training and collaboration with BCBAs

Qualifications

• Master's degree meeting California educational requirements toward LMFT licensure.
• Current AMFT registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Ability to provide at least 15 hours of direct ABA therapy per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide a minimum of 15 hours per week of direct 1:1 ABA therapy.
• Provide individual, family, and/or caregiver counseling under LMFT supervision.
• Participate in assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment planning.
• Support children and families with behavioral, emotional, developmental, parenting, and family-system concerns.
