Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Project Air Quality Engineer to join our ISC team, with a hybrid arrangement across Texas or neighboring Gulf Coast states. You will support air permitting, compliance, and emissions reporting for diverse industries including Oil & Gas, collaborating with senior leaders to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will travel up to 10-20% for project needs and mentor staff while expanding Gulf Coast air quality capabilities, working from Arcadis offices or remotely as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Air Quality, with a strong background in Oil and Gas air emission calculations and permitting.
• Bachelor or Master in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
• Experience with Texas permitting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Federal and State (with a focus on Texas and other Gulf Coast states) air quality regulations to air permitting and compliance projects.
• Assist clients, including upstream and midstream facilities, with permitting and routine air quality compliance reporting such as compliance certifications, emissions tracking, deviation reports, and MACT reports.
• Prepare air permit applications such as Permits-by-Rule, minor NSR, FESOP, Title V, PSD (and PSD avoidance), and Non-Attainment NSR (and NNSR Avoidance).
• Collaborate with Arcadis’ air team leaders to ensure application of regulatory knowledge, analytical techniques, and excellent project delivery.
• Perform emissions calculations for regulated air pollutants and greenhouse gases to be included in reporting such as emission inventories, Toxics Release Inventories and Tier II.
• Support client and proposal development activities.
