Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Air Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance (ISC) team in Texas, with offices in Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This will be a hybrid role, splitting time between an Arcadis office, remote work and visits to client sites.

You will work on air permitting and compliance support, emissions inventories, GHG reporting, and air dispersion modeling for Gulf Coast projects, collaborating with senior leaders and mentoring staff to grow our Air

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Air Quality, with a strong background in Oil and Gas air emission calculations and permitting.
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Federal and State air quality regulations to air permitting and compliance projects.
• Assist clients with permitting and routine air quality compliance reporting such as compliance certifications, emissions tracking, deviation reports, and MACT reports.
• Prepare air permit applications such as Permits-by-Rule, minor NSR, FESOP, Title V, PSD (and PSD avoidance), and Non-Attainment NSR (and NNSR Avoidance).
• Collaborate with Arcadis’ air team leaders to ensure application of regulatory knowledge, analytical techniques, and excellent project delivery.
• Perform emissions calculations for regulated air pollutants and greenhouse gases to be included in reporting such as emission inventories, Toxics Release Inventories and Tier II.
• Support client and proposal development activities.
