Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Air Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance (ISC) team, with a hybrid arrangement in Texas or Gulf Coast states. You will support air permitting, compliance, emissions inventories, and dispersion modeling for Gulf Coast projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of Air Quality experience and a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, with Texas permitting knowledge. EIT or PE is a plus; travel up to 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

7+ years of Air Quality experience, with focus on oil and gas emissions calculations and permitting.
Experience with Texas permitting and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of Federal and State air quality regulations to air permitting and compliance projects.
Assist clients with permitting and routine air quality compliance reporting (emissions tracking, deviation reports, MACT reports).
Prepare air permit applications (Permits-by-Rule, minor NSR, FESOP, Title V, PSD, NNSR avoidance).
Collaborate with Arcadis’ air team leaders for regulatory knowledge and project delivery.
Perform emissions calculations for regulated pollutants and GHGs for reporting.
Support client and proposal development activities.
