Carolina-Biological is seeking an AI Systems Analyst to drive enterprise AI initiatives, translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, and partner with leadership to deliver measurable value. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, data protection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize ROI and adoption across the company.

Hybrid schedule available; you will lead data preparation, evaluation, and implementation efforts while mentoring teams on responsible AI

Qualifications

• Four year college degree in IS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years technical IS / IT experience; 2+ years Agentic AI skills; 2+ years manufacturing / operations / business analysis experience
• Experience with AI governance, data protection, security, vendor risk, and model oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute Carolina’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap in alignment with corporate goals and long-term business value.
• Lead AI initiatives to satisfy OKRs, operational priorities, and ROI maximization.
• Analyze and plan AI use cases across business functions based on feasibility, risk, cost, resource requirements, and expected business impact.
• Work within AI governance standards, including responsible AI use, data protection, security, vendor risk, model oversight, approval processes, and compliance with company policies.
• Lead aspects of the AI project portfolio, including data preparation, project execution, risk assessment, and ROI evaluation.
• Enable business leaders and teams to experiment with AI safely, responsibly, frugally, and effectively within company standards.
• Partner with AI Catalysts or business champions to identify opportunities, estimate value, conduct experiments, promote adoption, share lessons learned, and reinforce responsible AI practices.
• Research and deliver AI training, Company communication, and change management programs to improve AI literacy, adoption, and responsible use across the company.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
