Qualifications

• Four year college degree in IS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years technical IS / IT experience; 2+ years Agentic AI skills; 2+ years manufacturing / operations / business analysis experience
• Experience with AI governance, data protection, security, vendor risk, and model oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute Carolina’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap in alignment with corporate goals and long-term business value.
• Lead AI initiatives to satisfy OKRs, operational priorities, and ROI maximization.
• Analyze and plan AI use cases across business functions based on feasibility, risk, cost, resource requirements, and expected business impact.
• Work within AI governance standards, including responsible AI use, data protection, security, vendor risk, model oversight, approval processes, and compliance with company policies.
• Lead aspects of the AI project portfolio, including data preparation, project execution, risk assessment, and ROI evaluation.
• Enable business leaders and teams to experiment with AI safely, responsibly, frugally, and effectively within company standards.
• Partner with AI Catalysts or business champions to identify opportunities, estimate value, conduct experiments, promote adoption, share lessons learned, and reinforce responsible AI practices.
• Research and deliver AI training, Company communication, and change management programs to improve AI literacy, adoption, and responsible use across the company.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE

The AI Systems Analyst creates value at Carolina by pursuing cross-functional stakeholder coordination and enterprise integration, and driving the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered systems. This role will translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, supporting change management and adoption across departments. The AI Systems Analyst will partner with technical and leadership teams to ensure AI initiatives align with broader organizational goals and deliver measurable value.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Independently executes Carolina’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap in alignment with corporate goals and long-term business value.
• Independently Lead AI initiatives to satisfy OKRs, operational priorities, and ROI maximization.
• Works independently to analyze and plan for AI use cases across business functions based on feasibility, risk, cost, resource requirements, and expected business impact.
• Work within AI governance standards, including responsible AI use, data protection, security, vendor risk, model oversight, approval processes, and compliance with company policies. Lead and enforce business and technical users to follow these practices.
• Lead aspects of the AI project portfolio, including data preparation, project execution, risk assessment, and ROI evaluation.
• Works independently to enable business leaders and teams to experiment with AI safely, responsibly, frugally, and effectively within company standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Four year college degree in IS/IT or related field is required .

Experience: 4+ years technical IS / IT experience; 2+ years of Agentic AI skills; 2+ years manufacturing / operations / business analysis experience

Specialized Training/Skills: Skilled with RAG and traditional ETL, Facility creating / managing / maintaining corporate AI data organizational datasets, great leadership and communication skills, adept with various AI tools, concepts, and expertise. Preferred candidates will possess skills with Enterprise Software Solutions such as JDEdwards, Salesforce, Oracle Business Suite, Power BI / OAS, or other similar applications.
