Job summary

SCAN Health Insurance seeks an AI Feature Lead to drive an enterprise AI platform, translating vision into scalable features. You’ll own requirements, validation, and delivery of impactful AI capabilities while partnering with engineering, product, business, and compliance teams.

You will guide platform strategy, APIs, data management, and governance to ensure scalable, compliant AI solutions that meet business goals and deliver measurable impact for members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep technical proficiency in AI platform architecture and agentic orchestration.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable AI feature proposals.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering and compliance.
• Familiarity with vectors, embeddings, knowledge representations, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience with Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prioritize technical and business requirements for platform features and agents.
• Translate business needs and patterns into clear specifications for engineering teams.
• Make trade-offs and maintain a prioritized feature backlog.
• Scope features using market headwinds/tailwinds and plan APIs, MCP, and data management systems.
• Roadmap development for APIs, MCP, and data management systems.
• Ensure seamless integration with internal and external data sources.
• Analyze organizational processes to identify recurring AI patterns and opportunities.
• Define acceptance criteria and KPIs; oversee test coverage and performance metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and share best practices.
