Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Integration Platform Engineer II to develop, configure, test, deploy, and support agentic AI workflows and enterprise integrations using approved platforms.

You will translate business requirements into integration designs, lead technical analysis with project teams and business partners, document designs, and ensure solutions meet security, reliability, and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in integration, development, and support.
• Experience designing and building integrations with Azure Integration Services, SAP CPI/BTP, Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns: APIs, messaging, file-based, event-driven, batch processing, orchestration, error handling, monitoring and retry patterns.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into integration designs, data mapping, implementation tasks, and supportable solution approaches.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL; security concepts in integration.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and support agentic AI workflows and integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into integration designs.
• Design integration patterns and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, and operational support needs.
• Lead or facilitate technical analysis with project teams, application teams, and business partners to define data mappings and evaluate options.
• Create and review technical design documentation, integration specifications, and implementation notes.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation and production support; troubleshoot outages and improve reliability.
