Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an AI & Automation Software Engineer for a 12+ month contract in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid). The role focuses on building AI-enabled workflows, deterministic automation, and integration across enterprise tools and services.

You will contribute to story refinement, estimate work, develop code and tests, and ensure deployment readiness. We offer benefits including health insurance, dental/vision, 401(k), and paid sick leave depending on work location.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into technical capabilities.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in languages used for software engineering, automation, and workflow development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition for AI agent use-cases, orchestration workflows, and deterministic automation capabilities.
• Participate in estimating work necessary to realize stories and requirements through the delivery lifecycle across both agentic and deterministic automation implementations.
• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements and stories in accordance with acceptance criteria and engineering standards.
• Build and enhance components that support AI-enabled workflows, agent interactions, deterministic automation routines, and integration with enterprise tools and services.
• Document and communicate deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality of developed solutions.
