Job summary

FedEx Dataworks is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions across the enterprise. You will apply software engineering principles to build production-quality code, scalable AI systems, and data pipelines, integrating models into business applications.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Platform teams to move models from prototype to production while ensuring governance, observability, and SLOs for AI services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ML/AI models for business use cases.
• Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training, validation, deployment.
• Monitor deployed models for drift, latency, reliability; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionize research prototypes.
• Ensure governance, fairness, and security in AI systems.
