Job summary

FedEx Dataworks seeks an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI/ML systems across the enterprise. You will own end-to-end model workflows, from preprocessing to monitoring, and ensure governance and reliability of services.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Ops, and Platform teams to scale AI, implement observability, and ship AI capabilities into enterprise apps with robust APIs and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing production AI/ML systems.
• Strong software engineering discipline with clean, documented code.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models in enterprise platforms.
• Experience with ML pipelines, data wrangling, and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI models supporting business use cases.
• Build scalable ML pipelines for training, validation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Ops to productionize models.
• Define SLOs, monitor drift and latency, and ensure operational readiness.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise workflows and apps.
