Job summary

Tradeweb Markets LLC in New York seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build production-grade AI-powered applications. You will own end-to-end development across architecture, backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and AI orchestration in a regulated financial technology environment.

The role emphasizes agentic workflows, RAG, and multi-agent systems, collaborating with Product, Front Office, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications leveraging agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern LLM ecosystems, vector databases, and RAG architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver production-grade AI/ML applications across strategic financial technology and enterprise AI initiatives
• Design scalable backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and intelligent workflows integrated into enterprise production infrastructure
• Develop next-generation AI-enabled platforms leveraging agentic workflows, orchestration layers, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent systems
• Partner with Product, Front Office, and Technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Contribute to modern AI engineering infrastructure supporting LLMs, internal tooling, and enterprise AI platforms
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks and machine learning technologies into real-world engineering workflows
• Build secure, governed, and reusable AI solutions in a highly regulated enterprise environment
• Operate with end-to-end ownership across architecture, development, deployment, and enhancement
• Collaborate across engineering leadership, data teams, and business stakeholders on AI initiatives
• Shape scalable AI capabilities that improve automation and productivity
