AI Engineer - Proprietary Trading Firm - Up to $175k + Bonus

You get to build real AI, at a firm that actually understands technology.

The firm has spent years developing its own proprietary trading technology from the ground up. The tools traders use every day to analyze data, act on news, and sharpen their strategies, you helped build them. This is a place where engineering is taken seriously and the work you do has a direct impact on how the firm competes.

You are joining a team of experienced, tenured engineers who have been here a long time and know the systems inside out. That means you are learning from people who genuinely know what they are doing, not figuring things out alone. The firm is established and stable, but it is actively scaling and pushing toward greater efficiency, so there is real momentum here.

The hours are also more relaxed than you might expect for a buy-side firm. This is not a place that runs you into the ground.

On the technical side, you are coming from a DevOps, systems, or infrastructure background while also being AI-native. You've done some networking and/or containerizations. You are not just prompting tools and hoping for the best. You understand the code that AI produces, you can interrogate it, and you know the reasoning behind it. That mindset matters here because the work requires you to think critically, not just move fast.
