Job summary

Talcott Financial Group is seeking a Project Analyst to provide analytical, operational, and project coordination support for enterprise initiatives in a hybrid Hartford, CT office. You will partner with project managers and business leaders to maintain governance, prepare executive reporting, administer project management tools, and apply AI to improve delivery and reporting efficiency.

The role focuses on producing accurate reporting, developing Steering Committee materials, and ensuring PMO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Project Management, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting projects, business operations, finance, or analytics.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple enterprise projects by coordinating deliverables, timelines, and project documentation.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to PMO standards and governance processes.
• Assist with project planning, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Develop high-quality presentations and materials for Steering Committee and executive leadership meetings.
• Consolidate project updates into executive-ready dashboards and reports.
• Produce recurring monthly operational and financial reports.
• Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Design and maintain project templates, dashboards, workflows, forms, and automated processes in Smartsheet.
• Provide user support and recommend enhancements to improve reporting and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes through automation and technology.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, documentation, meeting preparation, and administrative activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, technology, and business stakeholders to support project execution.
