Job summary

TC Energy in Charleston, WV seeks an experienced application developer to own end-to-end fixes for a 24x7 pipeline operations platform. You’ll work on full-stack features using an AI-driven lifecycle, with Angular front-end and Java middleware, and you’ll leverage AI tools like Kiro and Copilot for rapid prototyping.

The role demands 4+ years in application development, a BS in CS, and comfort with production environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Application Development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features using an AI-driven lifecycle for requirements analysis, code generation, testing, and iterative refinement.
• Build Angular components and services (PrimeNG, TypeScript) with AI-assisted scaffolding and code review.
• Implement Java middleware logic for business processes including EDI processing, nominations, and scheduling.
• Perform SQL Server performance tuning, including execution plans, indexing strategies, and stored procedure optimization.
• Utilize AI tools (Kiro, Copilot) for prototyping, data analysis, documentation, and cross-system references.
• Validate solutions across dev and test environments and coordinate production deployments via change management processes.
• Collaborate with a technical SME on architecture, database strategy, and production-critical decisions.
• Investigate performance issues by tracing Java middleware, query plans, and infrastructure layers.
• Operate in a small team with high ownership while navigating enterprise processes when needed.
• Embrace AI-integrated workflows as part of daily development and analysis.
