The role requires a strong bookkeeping foundation, comfort with multiple accounting systems, and the ability to work independently while applying controls and collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Experience reviewing invoices and managing approval workflows
• Experience reconciling multiple bank accounts and researching discrepancies
• Proficiency with accounting software and multiple financial systems
• Comfort working with AI-assisted accounting tools and automated workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas)
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

Responsibilities

• Review and validate vendor invoices processed by AI as entered in the GL and payment terms.
• Verify AI-generated invoice entries reflect original invoices and documentation.
• Ensure invoices comply with approval matrices before payment.
• Identify and correct errors from AI-assisted processing.
• Monitor AI-driven workflows for timeliness and accuracy.
• Handle manual intervention on exceptions and unusual invoices.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, due dates, and vendor balances.
• Research vendor inquiries and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain electronic records of invoices, approvals, and payments.
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and month-end AP activities.
• Collaborate to improve AI-assisted processing and internal controls.
