Job summary

Everforth ECS in Fairfax/ Ashburn, VA, seeks an Integration Engineer for a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 onsite days per week at our corporate office in Fairfax or at a client site in Ashburn. You'll build and integrate software solutions in an Agile team.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills (C++, Python, JavaScript), experience with DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Jira), Linux CLI, and containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT field is required.
• 2-3+ years designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and JavaScript with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Jira) and containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by conferring with stakeholders and analyzing requirements and data flows.
• Evaluate feasibility by analyzing requirements, third-party options, and proposed solutions.
• Estimate timelines and work independently and within teams to deliver.
• Brief stakeholders by collecting and summarizing development and service issues.
• Improve operations through systems analysis and process changes.
• Develop tests and testing strategies to ensure reliable deployments.
• Create scripts to automate manual processes and improve throughput.
• Work onsite at least 3 days per week at Fairfax, VA or Ashburn, VA sites; maintain Public Trust clearance.
