Job summary

Entergy seeks an AI Agent Development Intern to design, develop and test intelligent automation solutions for HR and ESS workflows. You will use Copilot Studio, AWS Claude, and MS Power Platform tools in a hybrid work setting.

You will gain hands-on experience in AI agent development, process documentation, and solution delivery in production. Potential for conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.
• GPA 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Attention to detail with strong documentation discipline.
• Basic understanding of business processes or HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test AI agents using Copilot Studio, AWS Claude, Power Automate, Power Apps and related tools.
• Design workflows to automate HR and ESS processes (onboarding, benefits, service requests).
• Document current-state processes clearly and thoroughly.
• Create documentation for new automated processes and steps.
• Collaborate with HR/ESS stakeholders to identify pain points and automation opportunities.
• Test agent functionality across various use cases and edge cases.
• Maintain detailed project logs and solution design docs.
• Support process optimization by identifying efficiency gains and automation potential.
• Participate in planning and retrospectives to improve delivery.
