Entergy is seeking an AI Agent Development Intern to design, develop and test intelligent automation for HR and ESS workflows in a hybrid environment. You will work with Copilot Studio, AWS Claude, Power Automate and Power Apps to document processes and deliver practical automation solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and test AI agents using Copilot Studio, AWS Claude, Power Automate, Power Apps and related MS Power tools.
• Design HR/ESS workflows for onboarding, benefits, and service requests.
• Document current-state processes in clear, detailed formats.
• Create documentation for new automated processes and workflow steps.
• Collaborate with HR/ESS stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Test and validate agent functionality across use cases and edge cases.
• Maintain project logs and solution design documentation.
• Support process optimization by identifying efficiency gains and automation potential.
• Participate in planning and retrospectives to improve delivery.

Entergy's HR and Shared Services (ESS) organizations seek an AI Agent Development Intern to support the design, development, and testing of intelligent automation solutions. You will work with cutting-edge AI and low-code platforms to build and document process automation agents focused on HR and/or ESS workflows. This internship offers hands‑on experience in AI agent development, process documentation, and solution delivery in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test AI agents using Copilot Studio, AWS Claude, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and related MS Power tools
• Design workflows that automate HR and ESS processes, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and service request handling
• Document current-state processes and procedures in clear, detailed formats
• Create comprehensive documentation of new automated processes and workflow steps
• Collaborate with HR and/or ESS stakeholders to understand process pain points and automation opportunities
• Test and validate agent functionality across different use cases and edge cases
• Maintain detailed project logs and solution design documentation

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Project-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms quickly
• Attention to detail with strong documentation discipline
• Basic understanding of business processes or HR functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar)
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI concepts
• Prior internship or project experience in AI, IT, business analysis, or process improvement
• Knowledge of HR systems or HR workflows
• Experience with process mapping or business process modeling
