Job summary

Under supervision, you will review submissions for risk, pricing, and fit with guidelines while building strong agency relationships to grow business and profitability.

Required: college degree (or equivalent) and 5–10 years underwriting experience; coursework such as AFIS, CPCU, AU, ARM or CIC.

Qualifications

• College degree (or equivalent experience) and five to ten years of progressively challenging experience writing small to medium sized risks as an agri business underwriter.
• Completion of technical insurance coursework such as AFIS, CPCU, AU, ARM, CRM or CIC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate small to middle market agri business risks within a defined territory.
• Build strong agency relationships to develop new business opportunities and manage profitability.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and participate in training and territory analysis.
