Capital Insurance Group in Spokane, WA, seeks a Director – Agribusiness to lead the agribusiness underwriting team across multiple states. Set performance goals, drive growth, and ensure profitability through underwriting rules while mentoring a mix of remote and on-site staff.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of agribusiness underwriting experience, plus at least 5 years of people management and strong communication skills; CPCU and AFIS designations are preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of people management experience with proven ability to lead a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPCU and AFIS designation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and execute overall performance and objectives for the company’s agribusiness insurance division.
• Develop growth and production goals; ensure profitability through underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Oversee business development opportunities with appointed agencies; lead self-reviews of underwriting files.
• Educate and develop the agribusiness organization; manage a team of remote and on-site staff across multiple states.
