Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives across the credit union, leading cross-functional projects in digital transformation, core system modernization, and regulatory compliance.

You will work with business units, technology teams, and senior leaders to define scope, create detailed plans, manage risks, and ensure adoption of Agile practices. Hybrid work arrangement in Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or credit union environments.
• Understanding of enterprise agility principles and frameworks; experience supporting enterprise-level projects.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, ServiceNow SPM, Miro, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and senior leaders to define scope, objectives, and success metrics; develop detailed project plans.
• Monitor project performance and provide updates to stakeholders; identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote agile practices across teams; support continuous improvement.
• Support change management to ensure smooth transitions and adoption; ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to and champion core values of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous excellence.
