Job summary

New York Life’s Houston office is seeking a Service Representative to support agents and management, overseeing contracting and onboarding to enable new agents to begin selling. The role emphasizes collaboration with Partners, accurate paperwork handling, and proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities include managing contracting tasks, tracking background checks, and providing updates to Partners, while performing general admin duties and calendar support for the Managing Partner.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or office administration.
• Clear, professional communication (phone and email) and strong stakeholder service.
• Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process contracting tasks to advance contracts.
• Track background checks and fingerprint results; follow up with Partners.
• Review onboarding paperwork for completeness and accuracy; resolve data gaps.
• Provide candidate status updates to Partners and answer questions.
• Process forms to ensure agents are integrated in our systems.
• Assist with in-person administrative duties for the Managing Partner in the General Office.
